Description

Spicy Gewurztraminer with a little funk. Our first crack at this variety sourced from a single block planted in the cool Polish Hill River Valley back in 1981 at the height of this variety's popularity. We've held the must chilled in the airbag press for 6 hours preferment chasing texture and intensity teasing out more varietal lychee and tropical salad characteristics. Fermented on light solids until totally dry has resulted in a beautiful perfume with a textural mid palate but a clean crisp and dry finish.
