Sourced from Brian Freeman’s vineyard at 500 meters above sea level at Prunevale, just south of Young. Brian is retired head of Oenology at Wagga Wagga College.
Clear with a faint bronze hue, quite normal for this variety.
A gorgeous perfume of freshly cut Granny Smith apples and white flowers.
Honeysuckle, pears and apples with good length and balance. Some texture and supple mouth feel true to a Pinot Gris style. Crisp refreshing acidity provides a clean refreshing finish. To be enjoyed while young and fresh.
Best drunk young and fresh although this vintage will interesting with 2-3 years bottle age.
Great with Thai salads or just simply a delicious chilled glass after work.
