A single site selection from a mature Watervale planting of 20 years. Western facing slope. Red loam over a limestone base.

Colour

Crystal clarity with green highlights.

Bouquet

Opens with lime, floral and a touch of fennel. Some toasty notes developing as the wine ages.

Palate

Fruit salad with hints of quince and lemon curd finishing crisp and clean. Incredibly youthful and fresh for the age. Fruits becoming rich and layered as the wine matures.

Peak Drinking / Cellaring Potential

At least another further 6 – 8 years comfortably. A very long living wine which should mature gracefully for decades.
