Sourced from the cooler reaches of the Clare Valley's Polish Hill River Valley our version of this Italian classic is all about the fruit. Packed with red current, raspberry, cassis with fine savoury tannins and bright acidity. A lighter bodied Sangiovese from a cooler 2022 vintage but still showing lovely layered complex fruit with a little oak. This wine will be a standout next summer with a light chill on a balmy night.
