The Rose Thief Shiraz Hilltops

Description

Cool climate Shiraz grown on Roger Clark's Hillrose Vineyard in Boorowa, Hilltops Region, Southern NSW. The higher altitude and resulting slower ripening produces a more elegant version of Australia's fave red grape. Concentrated red jam flavours, medium weight with lower alcohols and some spice notes are all hallmarks of the region. This is simply delicious as a young fresh wine with quite granular tannins but it will develop nicely over the next 6-8 years. So try and keep your hands of it for a while and you be someones hero.
